I'm starting to think this rule was never really enforced by the players, but due to the conflict around the CBA negotiations, the NFLPA is pushing for players to be more guarded about sticking to the clock exactly.
I mean, two teams getting violations in one year could be chalked up to coincidence. But 3??? It's not like teams are suddenly pushing players harder. None of these teams have new coaches.
