Some more good news today

It is? More like a reminder of bad news.

He will still be in the PUP and IMO he wont see the field this season.

All info we knew this time a week ago.

Probably more likely but we arent doctors but so we certaintly dont know for sure. Either way PUP is better then football career in question.

It is from the standpoint that we may get an answer soon on how much damage there actually is and if he'll ever play again. I have already written off this year for him and hope he can return next season.

I don't see how this is a bad thing at all. I'd much rather have him in town to get checked out and be around the team.

We will see when the doctors take a look at his head what we can expect from him this year, but there's no doubt that him getting out of the hospital is a good sign.

He's been tweeting a lot more recently too...not that we can use that as an indicator of how his brain is functioning, but if he were in a bad shape, living wise, would think he wouldn't be bothering...

Having our doctors see him is good...if the injury is so bad as to put his career in jeopardy, we will see it and take appropriate action, whether that is getting him the right help, or just cutting our losses and reccomending to him to retire from professional football. Either way, we'll know something soon.

I haven't expected him on the football field this year for a couple weeks now, so anything we get better than that is gravy.

I doubt his career is threatened If so he wouldn't be coming here in the first place.

As it stands we really don't need him this year given the logjams at lb and dl especially the way Suggs and Kruger look. He will likely turn out to be a bonus next year.

Suggs and Kruger look good, but I'd rather have two OLBs that can rush the pass well, not just SUggs. Barnes is stepping up, but I think Kindle would've been BEASTLY in pass rush. It just reminds me of SUggs rookie year...He got 12 sacks mostly because teams were double teaming Boulware. That was the main reason we brough Suggs in, was to try to start shaking some of the double teams on Boulware.

Kruger should bring some rush capability, but more from his new DE spot.

Well in a bad way I guess that keeps him off the field and gives his knee more time to recover as well. I see PUP at minimum and if he is not ready after week 6, he will go on IR until next season. So if he was smart and really wanted to be a stud, he will condition well this offseason and keep his nose in the play book, and watching how the D works.

This is great news, especially for him. The last I read was he was in re-hab
and someone posted on Sunspot that he had motor skills probs. That wasn't
good but if he's texting and what not and coming here he must be a lot
better.

I wrote him off for the year but if we could get him back by the end of the
year and for the PO run - wow.

I was really excited to see him play next to JJ. He would have started at
some point this year.

Not only that but i think Kindle is underrated as a complete football player, he can make things happen in space, nice feet and moves fluidly. He will certaintly help in coverage as well if and when he comes back.

If Kindle can't put pads on and play for a while, he needs to be in EVERY meeting soaking up EVERY bit of information he can about this system. He knows to be getting stronger and smarter to make up for the valuable time he is missing this year.

If he stays on track and gets better, he could be another weapon added to next year's squad. I've said before that I think Cody will merit a selection at 25, let alone 57, so getting (a hopefully improved) Kindle next year would be icing on the cake.

He needs to take this season seriously as a chance to get better.

I have said this before but it is worth mentioning again...If he was required to go to a Neuro rehab unit that is major which typically indicates a setback with brain injury....I am doubting at this point that is what he went to. I am guessing he probably needed something along the lines of a sub acute rehab where he recovers from physical ailments typically from a broken bone or debility.

Wow and so soon after the tumble. That's youth for ya or the lure of the almighty $$. Either way I predict two things that he buys when he signs that contract. Either he's buying a Rancher in Owings Mills/Reisterstown or one of those chair elevators with seatbelts. Hell that maybe in his contract as must buys. Here's to a speedy recovery "King Serg".
