Is there already an effort underway by Ravens fans to appeal to the selection committee members to finally vote for Art to be inducted to the HOF? If there is,can someone let me know ? If not,I would suggest that we all send e-mails to the committee members imploring them to vote for Art.

The HOF website has a list of all of the committee members. Ravens fans should make an effort to let these members know that it's time to do the right thing.

The committee consists of sports writers and they all seem to lay down for one Cleveland reporter who is doing everything possible to keep Art out -- Tony Grossi.

There are numerous efforts, most of which get play here by TL.

Art is respected by the owners but not so much be the sports writers. For whatever reason, they do not view his move to Baltimore in a favorable light.

Add in the fact that even Ravens fans trash Art with the same lies that Grossi pimps and it makes it all that much harder.

Art will get in posthumously. Even if he got in now, there's no way he would go to the induction (in Ohio). It would be ugly.

But I don't know how they can justify Al Davis being in and not Modell.

I am well aware of the pathetic efforts of Grossi. It's a dirty shame. And I would hope that Art would get in before he leaves this world.

Here's a thought; If inducted,Art could give his acceptance speech in a live feed from Baltimore. Open up the stadium and let him do it there with Ravens fans in the stands.

Personally, I don't like that that's the reason we got a team. When I get to thinking about it and what it says about pro sports it gives me doubts about how much I care about it. It's really the only advantage college sports has over the pros, even though the college game is corrupt as hell, just that you know that your team isn't going to pack up and leave because of failed political negotiations over stadium construction, or something.

I mention this before in the past. outside of MD and Oh no one cares about what Art did ask the average fan and they couldnt tell you what Art did for the game. The current Raven players need to mention Art every chance they get.Draw national attention to it

Honestly no one on this board would give a crap either. The only reason why anyone cares is because Art moved the team here.

I was talking about why Art was being kept out, not the move.
