$28 million dollar contract and he never played a single down for them...

Reported by msnbc, nothing on ESPN or NFL.com yet though

I guess this was their 75 cutdown...some interesting names showing up in this round of cuts...

L. Coles (don't feel like spelling the first name) released by the Jets...if D Will's injury lingers, I could see us bringing him in while Stallworth is out, he's probably a decent guy as a 4th WR.

Aundrae Allison is a good returner, if I remember right

His agent said they are going to try to get his 2010 base salary of 1.55 mil from the Bengals. I don't see how that happens, since his base salary is only guaranteed if he plays in the first regular season game. I guess he can try to get that if he doesn't play for any team in 2010, but if he can get healthy, I think someone picks him up for WR depth.

The Bengals are a joke.

This is why I think any of our WRs lower than 4th on the depth chart may be in troubles. There always seems to be a vet or two out there at WR after cut downs.

Not surprising, but interesting that they gave up on such a "huge" signing. The knee must be way worst than they thought. Didn't they check this guy out prior to signing? What a waste.
