The only loss for the Ravens came in the last meeting, a 20-12 defeat in Oakland on Dec. 14, 2003. Anthony Wright was intercepted on the third play from scrimmage, and running back Zach Crockett scored a one-yard touchdown to give the Raiders a quick 7-0 lead. After the Ravens closed to 10-6, quarterback Rick Mirer hit receiver Jerry Rice for a 21-yard touchdown to seal the win.
I forgot that friggin' Rick Mirer was the qb for Oakland for that game....that's why you don't count your chickens before they are hatched. We all thought we had that game in the bag when we found out Mirer was gonna start.
Never take any NFL team lightly.

Well hell, this should have been our first clue that we weren't going to win.

—WR Demetrius Williams was added to the injury report Thursday with a knee injury. If he can't play, the Ravens' third receiver would be Devard Darling.
I hope Spiderman is alright, he had a great catch against the Bucs.

Nice write up. Don't think the Ravens will let up. This is a real chance to go up 2-0 something a lot people didn't think we would do.
Oakland gave up 9 sacks. Wonder how many the DOGS will get this Sunday.
Suggs gets two (2) for starters.

I thought Darling was supposed to be our 3rd wide reciever.

Its a toss up between Darling and Williams on a week to week basis, depends what the matchup dictates ad/or if one is injured like this week.Greta to have some depth at the position for a change so its not a big deal if one or the other cant play.

I remember our first win over Oakland.
I had tears in my eyes as the National anthem was performed.
