If Keller makes this catch and then gets the first down
they still get a chance for a FG.
Ray separates Keller from the ball. John and Stan said
he had no idea where he was.
That's why he ran out of bounds a yard short of the marker.
He had no idea where it was. His head was still spinning.
Chalk another win up to Ray.

I'm sure that was sarcasm but in case it wasn't Ray has been doing
this for 15 years long before anyone heard of McClain.
Just ask Rivers last year at end of game in SD.
Just ask Mendenhall in Pissburgh two years ago
where he knocked him out for year.
Just ask anyone in NFL.
Some people.

Chad got his taste of Ray already. I doubt he wants it again.

Hahaha yes!!! I love it - people wanna talk about Ray, but when it comes down to it, he OWNS the middle of the field. My second favorite play of the game was when Sanchez saw him running at him and slid instead of picking up the first down. That play forced them to kick a field goal instead of having a first and goal.
Ray sent a memo out to the rest of the league, same memo he sends out every year - the middle of the field is a dangerous place when you play the Ravens.

AirFlacco... OF COURSE that was sarcasm! Jeez come on, give me a little credit here. I was mimicking Bart Scott.
Also, a little OT, but is it just me, or are the exotic blitzes Rex called overrated? I mean, when they get there, that's great, and they're hell on young quarterbacks/miserable hacks/Sanchez types, but so often they get baaarely beaten for a nice play.

Ok, Ok, man.
I'm sorry.
All is squared unless you were kidding about the
sarcasm.

Shit did you guys miss the other plays, Ray was blowing shit all night.
Put the smash on Greene on 3rd and 1 and big body Greene stopped dead in his tracks and immediately went backwards, blew up the FB on another 3 and short that actually hit LT and Carr cleaned up the left overs.

But that play wins the game because as posted, if
Keller gets his foot inside the marker they get first down and
the drive keeps going and
they might get a chance for a FG with a kicker good
at 50 yds or longer.
Ray stopped a lot of crap tonight but this hit with less than 53 secs left
wins it.
That's the point.

It was many things, not just the hit that Ray put on Keller, which gives Ray the player of the game award, IMO. Don't forget that hit in the 4th quarter where he smashed the blocker, cause the runner to stumble and fall behind the line of scrimmage. To be honest, I had my eye on Ray from the time they lined up for that play. I kept thinking, now is the time for Ray to come through and kill this drive. As usual, he didn't disappoint!

also, i can make the case that the hit on keller shows how "football smart" ray is...last years hit on chad johnson got ray penalized (and fined?) b/c it was said to be a helmet first hit...so, after umpteen years of playing MLB, ray retrains his muscle memory to now throw shoulder first into keller....same devastation, same incompletions, but no penalty, no fine...and on the last Jets play of the game, keller wins an honorary degree (along with sanchez for his early slide) from the Tom Brady School of P*ssies

Sorry Sting, but that hit was not a proud moment in Ravens history. It basically cost us the game.
Ray hit a defenseless receiver after the ball sailed at least 5 yards past Chad and Chad was on his way down.

That may have been my favorite Ray moment of the game. He shot the gap so fast and so hard da terminator had no chance, and was knocked into LT, Ray effectivly making the tackle with Connor's backside.

Ray Lewis has done this for 15 years and yet each time he does it I feel as pumped up as I did the first time I saw him blow up a receiver or running back...

I just love when Ray blows a play up, and a lot of times you see a FB get a decent block on average LBackers, somebody mentioned Terminator (Connor) on that play, but I think it was Richardson, either way Ray blew that play up and practically made the Tackle without even touching the RB.
The stop on Greene was huge to, Greene is not a small back he weights in around 230-240 and Ray stopped him dead in his tracks and he went no where but backwards.
Ray also set up the Sizzle J.J sack.
