The Crazy Newshound found this. Not sure if this has been discussed. A nice read:
Last week was bittersweet -- bitter leaving my second home, and sweet for the opportunity that is ahead of me. I signed a contract to play for the New England Patriots. I would like to thank every individual fan for all of your support over the seven years I have been here. It has been a great joy to be a part of a fantastic city and organization.
My seven years with the Baltimore Ravens have been filled with fun memories and accomplishments, both on and off of the field.

That was sweet! Nice of him to thank the fans like he did. Reminded me of the letter that Jamie Sharper put in The Sun when he went to the Houston Texans.
Classy guy, I wish him well, except when the Pats and Ravens meet......

All class! Wish AD could have retired a Raven, but that's business I guess. Hope he continues his strong play (but not against the Ravens of course).
He could still retire a Raven.

I'll say this about AD...First and foremost, he is one hell of a football player. He will be missed.
Just before Xmas last year AD was at the Modells in Arundel Mills. The line to get autographs was all of 15 deep.
I had two items that I purchased on account of AD being there.
He would only sign one of the items.
No big deal...I'm sure it's a headache for the players that constantly face this type of request, but man...it is such a small thing for a man to do (sign another item).
The second item was a gift to my godson.
AD made me feel as if I wasn't worth his time.
Could be that I caught the man at an off time, but this was my experience.
I wish him well and perhaps a happy return.

Mike, It could be that he has a limit of one per... Why? Well, Many people want multiple items signed so they can profit from them. Lenny Moore comes to our tailgate every home game, and it makes me cringe when Hawkers come round and ask him to sign multiple items, which they are obviously (because I've seen them) just going to turn around and sell for however much they can get, of which he gets squat! Makes me want to reach out and "touch" someone.... viciously! :hammer:

Great point. So many of these guys have bad experiences that ruins them for when we interract with them. Always keep that in mind if a player treats you poorly.

I was a loyal attendee at Michael's Pub for the AD show and he was always gracious at signing multiple things. I think it may have been the rules at the Modell signing.

I was going to say the same thing. I do know that at some of these in-store signings that tehre are stipulations made by either the player or the store regarding what items and how many any individual can have signed.
Oh, And I will miss AD too. I talked to him at one of the Thursday Night Live shows and got a picture with him as well.
