This is really sappy I know, but the amount of time reading this board...
There are so many really informed fans here and whether I agree with you or disagree with you, I really respect you all.
Let's unite against this black evil cloud called the Stiller's this week!!!

Honestly.. I was just thinking how great this board is. Everyone's very opinionated and for the most part very football wise. It's great to come here and talk football with you guys (and gals)
Whenever you get mad at this board, read the Sun forum. That place has turned into an eye opening cesspool of suck.
Less posts here but more quality.

The Sun's board is the reason many of us long-time posters sought out this board and the old Ravens board. About 10 years ago, the Sun started to publicly post every user's IP address at the bottom of each message. Not to mention they were a bunch of Nazis when it came to moderating the message board.

At least here, even though I may not agree with someone's opinion, I do know that it will be well informed. At the Sun and Scout boards, some poster really do not have the basic understanding of the game of football but they are still authorities on every aspect of the Ravens. Thanks for the good chatter.

I agree. There's a lot of knowlege on this board. PSU is the statmaster, Baltimore Hokie know rosters inside and out, FilmStudy knows the most detailed information on each players performance. The mods have lots of insight..I could go on and on-just throwing out a few names as examples.
Not to put down other boards, because they have a lot of great guys and some good football knowlege too, but they don't compare to 24/7.

Love this board as well. Everyone here is raven fan. The only way I feel Baltimore is when i come here to read. It sucks living behind enemies lines!! But this board is my lifeline to purple heaven!!! Everyone got great points, or opinions. Let's go ravens, shut this town down so i can sleep!!! buckle the chinstrap!!!:rocking:

What I like is that most of us had to be invited by someone who was already here. I check this page three times daily during the season and at least once a day during the offseason

Rastaman told me about this board....Rasta and me aren't close...we disagree on ESPN but yes it was an invite...Glad to be here
BTW Pyite....the original thread topic reminds me of a Toby Keith song...good stuff man...I love this bar too.

I must admit I have not been reading the forum as much as last year. Because the highs are not that high.And the lows are too low.I just wanted to get back to enjoying the Ravens good or bad.Without all the mud slinging etc.
But I love shooting myself in the foot,that is why I have no toes. And I have started reading posts again.:happyanim
