Foxsports has the ravens listed number one followed by the stillers and ravens north formally known as the jets

Power rankings are nothing more but one more way for a website to attract visitors. Anyway as soon as the Ravens start getting national respect, they have historically plunged quickly.

The power rankings are a joke. I've seen the Jets ranked ahead of us every week. Didn't we beat them?
And yes, very funny that we are ranked behind TWO teams we beat, including #1. I love how everyone assumes the Steelers are going to be so much better with Rapistberger back. How hilarious would it be if they lost to the Brownies in Benny Rapes-a-lot's debut game back?

Check that. We beat BOTH the #1 and #4 ranked teams, ON THE ROAD, and are behind both of them. Not to mention, the Falcons, who stunk it up against the same Steelers at Heinz, are somehow ahead of us.
Jets beat the #32 ranked team and move up 3 spots...we beat the #1 ranked team on the road and only move up 2? :229031_confused2::insane:

Good let them have it.
Respect is earned not granted.
and as far as the Jets and Steelers they have had easier schedules so far.
Buffalo (we know what they are)
Miami is not looking good after a decent start (the small things, ST)
NE's defense is not very good, but probably the best team they have played besides us.
Tampa Bay is probably back on the down swing
Falcons should have lost to the 0-4 49ers at home.
Titans are a mess, penalties and poor decisions are costing them games
So far we have played 3 road games against top tier Defenses and came away with 2 wins and a game Joe gave away with a +4 turnover ratio and still only lost by 5.
Brownies of course is the weakest but by no means are as bad as they were in previous years and probably pull out some upsets this year, with strong D, and Hillis pounding the rock

How many threads do we need this week about how disrespected we are?
Not that I *care*, but if I did, I might guess that Talking Head X thinks the Pittsburgh Steelers are better than they were on Sunday because their starting QB has returned from his hard-earned suspension.
But honestly, who cares? It's just some guy's opinion. It doesn't come with a prize or anything.

Quote from PFT:
"We think he'll do just fine. Before Sunday's game against the Ravens, we believed that, if the Steelers had won, they could have run the table. Though the best the Steelers can now manage is 15-1, we wouldn't be surprised if it happens."

Apparently at least one more. Although I think this thread is more of how screwy the power rankings are more than being disrespected.

Falcons are just ridiculous - they LOST to the Steelers with Dixon starting, and 2 of their wins were SF and Arizona, a combined 2-6. That's atrocious.
We've beaten both Pittsburgh and the Jets on the road, and the Steelers have had quite an easy schedule so far aside from the Ravens. I'm not impressed with beating Tampa (who sucks), Atlanta (who is mediocre, IMO. unimpressive), and the Titans who implode every single game with 800 turnovers.
Really giving this more commentary than it deserves - there is no logic here.
