I was at the Adalius Thomas show tonight and he wouldn't say on the air what was gonna happen pre-game on sunday. But after the show he told us that they would be doing player introductions this sunday instead of the team intro. So be ready for the Ray Ray dance!

It depends though. They only introduce either the offense, or the defense in a given week. They rotate. So it depends on who gets it this first week.

i can very nearly guarantee it'll be the defense that gets introduced. Coming off the type of performance they had last week, they are the ones who'd get the crowd fired up...

I would like to see at least McNair introduced, seeing as it's his first regular season game in Baltimore. The stadium would go nearly as nuts for him as it would for Ray.

the offense should be introduced this week. if they want to announce Ray after they announce the rest, that is fine. i hear what you are saying about the defensive showing last week, but how about the offensive showing? we have not had one like that in a while. also, McNair. it is the home opener. his first as a Raven. he deserves it. Ogden deserves to hear the fans too.

save the defense for against SD. a little extra fire for that game will probably go a bit further.

I feel like it should be Steve McNair's week. If it weren't for a decent offense we wouldn't have won 27-0.

Another vote for McNair and the offense. That will get the crowd especially charged.

I find it hilarious that Raiders fans still regret the day their team drafted Ricky Dudley ahead of the GREAT #52...LOL

Ray Ray and the rest of our defense won't let wanna-be tough guys like the Raiduhs walk into our house on Sunday and push them around...

Can't wait to cheer on Reed and give Ngata a warm welcome. And of course see Ray dance again.

There is no chance of them introducing the offense over the D this week. It doesn't matter how many of you are "voting" for the offense, for starters this isn't a vote, the team isn't going to read this and the majority of us want the D anyway. If the O is to be introduced they'll be introducing them both. I didn't see Steve McNair or Todd Heap out there shutting out the Bucs O, btw.

I want Steve to get his day in the sun, most definitely...

Let's see a couple more decent offensive outings first to build up that anticipation though...

Baltimore has always been defined (Billick era) by DEFENSE...
And when the D is introduced "The Dance" must follow!

Exactly why it will be the D and why it should be the D. One "decent", not great, outing, doesn't mean the offense should go out before the guys who have carried the team for basically the past 6 years.

Offense or defense. Steve or Ray. It doesn't matter to me. I am going to be screaming my head off come introductions. My first home opener and there is way too much excitment for this team. :taz:

You're coming to the opener? Make sure you make your way to Lot J and tailgate with Fells, Admin, Greg, me, Mista T, and this week only, a group of crazy Brits.....

Crow, I just might do that. I tailgate with a group at Staples, but there is always time to make another tailgate!!

You live in Boonsboro? I didn't know that. You're only 15-20 minutes from me!

Do you belong to a Nest or Roost? I don't right now...but if time permits I may join one or the other. I used to belong to Nest 9 out of Bowie when I lived in Montgomery County.

I used to be part of the Nest in H-town. Then I had we had our son and I started to take classed for my masters and time just has not been there.

I will do my best to get over to you tailgate on Sunday. I am bringing a Raider fan :bag:, but atleast I will have someone to make fun of for the day!!

We had Justin Green on GAMETIME last night and I asked him about the unis and the intros. He said they would be wearing white and he wasn't sure about the introductions. The podcast will be up on the site later today. Both he and Clarence Brooks were on during the first hour.

I understand about the time not being there. I'm not taking college courses, nor do I have any children at home...but with work, and just life in general, it gets hard to devote time to something else.

I hope you do find the time tomorrow to stop by and introduce yourself.

Crap, the Ravens are wearing white. I prefer the purple. I guess they looked at the weather forecast and saw that sunny and in the '80's.......

I believe they make their uni color choices before the season. Most home teams in the warmer weather cities choose their lighter color in September. That is why we wore purple last week, Tampa knew it is usual still hot in September and chose to wear white.

I bet it will be the offense that gets announced. And McNair and the entire offense had more to do with that shut out then you are giving them credit for. They ate up a whole lot of clock and kept the defense fresh.

The offense helped in the shutout but ONE DECENT, not great, performance, doesn't warrant the O getting introduced before the D. Period. Not only will it be the defense, it shouldn't even be a debate. You guys are looking at McNair and Heap and Mason, but forgetting that also includes the likes of Flynn, Pashos, Vincent, who won't get the kind of cheers that Gregg, Ngata, and Pryce will.

I look forward to the O getting introduced vs. San Diego.
