I'm here honey. lol. Hey, Don't give up on the Driftwood yet. 7's is trying to find something out for us. I found out the owners live in Florida. Called the County adn the Liquor License is still good. It would only take about $1800 to transfer it.

My lunch at Symours was fun today, always great getting together with friends. Best part of trip though was seeing this jeep with steeler flags pulled over on RT 50 just before Easton, by the State Police..... Hey, a little satisfaction, not much but a little...

Afternoon - Everyone - Hope you all saw Chuck's post of fox. Well said and I sent him an email, cc'ing everyone. Took me a while to find the driftwood this time, actually had to do a search for it, then it made me log in again??

Anway, looks like we gonna have some new coaches. Players seem to like Pagano! Many thanks to Mattison, and the OL coach for their service to the Ravens... and of course good luck to the new coaches....lets hope the OZ gets these coaches some more talent....

ps, if anyone of you are learning some new tricks, other than doing a search, on how to find driftwood, which I guess is our thread, let me know??

yea! we're here! It will nice to enjoy football WIN OR LOSE without a bunch of stupidity around it. Event though I still hold a PSL, I stopped going about 5 years ago for the same silliness, including some "Ravens" fans. that and the fact that the "facility" is 15 steps from my lazy boy (and a more apt description of me does not exist!) I seel my one ticket to my boss' son who knows that I will NOT tolerate any shenanigans from him. I know the people sitting around him. Also, weekends are when my wife cooks it up in the kitchen with soups and stews. She will also brave the cold and winds to cook some brats outside for me, and an occassional steak for game day!

I know the Ravens like to go with the best player availiable, but they have certain areas that take priority. If that player happens to fit that, then that's great. Rob One thing for sure the Ravens have got to improve the O -line and maybe another corner. I hope Kindle can make it but he has a tough job coming back. We will see what he is made of?

Hey Guys, Left a note with Kat today, I have the Bug and it's not good, feel better today though. I posted on Fox because I was in Steelers Territory and everyone was so nice up here. I'm starting to have mixed feelings about Fox.....as I noted to Kat.....it is a Ravens board, If I said what I feel, They would probably lock me up!!

Personally I think we are better off just putting them in the rear view mirror. I don't think they, especially net, misk, nissie, and some of the other steeler posters who have jumped on the bandwaggon, will ever be worth our time, and I am tired of thinking about revengeful responses. Look at net's post back to KAT after he got her package. Talk about a hypocrite. Just look at the things he has said about her, the friendliest, most gracious lady on the fox sites??? Anyway, I never say never, it is our page, we all know that, but we did this in support of our good friend.....???

it's going to be a nauseating two weeks leading up to the Super Bowl. I talked to my Pittsburgh customers this morning and during the game, congratulating them. I'm still waiting for someone, ANYONE to explain to me WHY Donte Stallworth did not play much this year, after the injury healed. Injured? Attitude? Harbaugh Dog House? Was he not the fastest guy on the team? I know our season is open but there are still unanswered questions, for me at least. THANKS! I GOT ROOKIE STATUS!!!

19 - There certainly are a lot of questions as to what went on during the season. The hard part is being so close in winning our division, so many missed opportunities and that is what makes it so difficult. Imagine how the owners, players and coaches themselves must feel. I hope the team nucleus stays together to continue to build upon......

yes many questions, but I never hear an answer to that specific question. ever. it gets glossed over. I want to hear Cameron or Harbs or SOMEONE in authority with that team explain that to me. The first reverse was great, but when you only bring him in for that,it's obvious. Same with returning punts, thought that was supposed to highlight his speed. I'm guessing that the full story, and there must be one, will never come out of the lips of anyone in this organization.

Rob - Yes, Matt did look tired and that is why we need a young center for him to help bring along and spell him from so many snaps. I think if Matt thinks the team has a good shot at a SB he will give it another season, but what do I know? I read on the Sun Insider that Ray Lewis only missed about six snaps during the 2010 season. Of course if he can play he never wants to come out of the game....When you think of all the hits he made and took that is quite a feat for any player let alone a veteran of his age..

Good morning everbody! getting ready to leave for York and other Pa. areas this morning, waiting for the mess to clear up a little bit. Our annual trip to a hunting cabin in upstate Pa may be in danger! Let's get this slop cleaned up before tomorrow afternoon. I need to get out of town for a while. Not sure the Ravens can keep Birk and get someone with fresh legs in there. and Ray is a beast, but really I don't think we can have him playing all but six downs next year. We've got to get young soon. But hey, at least it gives us off season discussion! And next time some yinzer says "six super bowl rings" just say... "six championships you say? Man, there's about 4 inches or so of snow out there, and we're supposed to get more later in the day. Somebody turn off the snow machine!!!....lol. We need to get younger at center, and some defensive positions. The thing about Ray is that he doen't want to come out of the game, so it's hard to get somebody else in there.

Afternon everyone. Well it was hell driving to work at 6:30 this morning. Harford County is slow at getting our roads plowed. Unitas, sure hope you get to go on your trip. Sounds like a great time.
Hi Rob and Yad. Snow is supposed to start back up soon and who knows what we'll end up with the 4:00 a.m. tomorrow morning, which is supposedly when it will stop.
As to Ray, I do believe he has slowed down a bit, wouldn't we if we had the carreer he has had. He still has a hell of a lot left in him but I also agree that we need to get some young blood in there. Don't know if anyone can ever replace Ray but I'm sure hopeful.

It's time for a ski trip. Actually, Linda and I are going on one Feb.11-13 in Scranton, PA. Two nights lodging, a welcome buffet, plus four "all you can eat buffets", and free open bar through the weekend....we can't wait.....WOOHOO!!! :ww:

As for my son I called him at 9AM and he did not get home until 3:30AM, and fortunately found a guy with a plough to clear his driveway so he could pull in. I think there are alot of stories like that from that storm yesterday..

Yad, I do know. My daughter was told to go home from work in Baltimore at 6:00 and it took her over 3 hours to get home. It normally takes about 30 minutes at the most. I worried the entire time until she arrived home safely.

As far as the Ravens, We need a few pieces here and there, but we'll be fine. I think the schemes need to change more than anything else. Missing Gaither really hurt us last year O-Line wise, IMO.
I'm sure the players know we're close, as compared to other teams in the league.

As for Zorn, you just don't know what to believe. It is like politics and if Flacco is un happy then it is obvious what we read before was just bull, that Flacco and Zorn did not get along.
Something obviously happened when Cam and Harbaugh had their meeting with Zorn that locked up Zorn's fate?? But will we ever know for sure???

Kat..... keep on working out and you'll have more energy. I work out on my eliptical trainer 30 mins. a day, six days a week, and have done so for the last 2 years and I'm in better shape now then I was 20 years ago. So keep up the good work!!! RAH, RAH, RAH!!!

I think Zorn helped Joe this year, but I think Zorn and Cam run different types of offenses. Zorn is more of a West Coast offense guy, and Cam is more of a vertical-downfield guy. The two coaches may have been telling him two different things...but I would think they would have all been on the same page?? IMO, maybe that's why he was fired.

Looks like we're going to get some nasty weather in the next couple days...oh man! Everyone have a great day.

I am saddened by this latest story with Flacco on Zorn, and COMMUNICATIONS ISSUES. I don't even know what that means! I am worried about the direction this is leading us to. We do not need controversy. we need guys who can catch balls AT THE IMPORTANT MOMENT!!!!! anyway, kind of a sour taste with the way the season ended and the mess that seems to be happening. Trust this club can get it together for the draft.

19 - Glad you had a great trip and made it back home ok.

As for the Flacco/Zorn deal, as 19 said, it really does leave a sour taste because now with all this coming out at the end of the season and with all of us seeing the offense sputter all year long we have to wonder if we wasted the possibility of greater success over somekind of power struggle between the offensive coaches??? Other than the line, we certainly had the weapons??? This stuff has a tendancy to linger on to future seasons....I don't like it one bit...

Yad - I noticed that as well about Misk's comment.
Rob - Believe it or not, I can not use the Elyptical as he kills one of my knees. I do a 25 minutes cardio workout, 25 on the treadmill and 20 on the Bike. Jer has me doing weights for the upper arms every other day. Still feeling a little sore but good at the same time.

Soooo, does this mean our boy Flacco is starting to come out of his shell? I sure hope he brings that to the field next season. It's a damn shame it took firing Zorn to do that though.

The media has pumped up "Matty Ice" in Atlanta and yet I don't believe he has won a single playoff game to date. I'm a little tired already of the "diplomatic" answers to all questions. Morning Ravens Friends....we certainly don't need the ice storm, but what can you do?

Yad....I have a Pro-Form 15.5S eliptical trainer I got at Sears on sale 2 years ago for $299.00 (saved $100.00), don't know if they still make them. It's just a basic machine with nothing fancy (like entering your weight, etc.) but it does the job. When I bought it I was 220 lbs., I'm now 190. Along with excersize, I also changed my diet, eating more healthy. You may get a better selection at a sporting goods store, but they are expensive.

19...Stallworth was injured some this season, but they didn't use him the way they said they would when they acquired him. He was supposed to stretch the field, but he was used more on reverses. I suppose some of it is the OL, who didn't block well, but they could have sent him downfield to clear out a space in the defense, and thrown the ball there. Cam's fault??

Kat....Understand about the knees...I was jogging for a while (up to 18 mins.), then my knees started hurting, so I got the eliptical trainer, and now I have no problem with them...but everyone is different. Great to hear you're working out...keep it up.

777 - Charter may be a possibility. A friend who runs a charter normally keeps his boat, 40 footer right next to where I had mine at Taylors island. Last year he was not in the water due to some personal problems but maybe he will this year. Will see what I can find out.

As for meeting up soon I remember Rob & Linda were going away next week, I believe so hopefully after that weekend we can get together one Sat or Sun, whatever is best for everyone....

Ted, I've been thinking about that Polomalu D-POY all day and I have come to the conclusion,and of course, just my opinion, that he probably deserves it ig for no other reason than the karate chop on Flacco in December that caused the fumble and allowed them to score relatively easily. If he doesn't make that play, Ravens win (probably) and the AFC championship game is here (again, probably) he saved their post season, propelled them to the division lead which they never gave up. I have returned safely from the belly of the Steeler beast. I stopped at a Sheetz in Shady Grove for a coffee, the cashier had a steeler jersey on, I asked her if she was from Pittsburgh and of course SHE WAS NOT! She "likes" them because they win. Hmmmm.... TYPICAL! and strictly by mistake, I spilled my coffee all over the counter, but I did clean it up. PLEASE FOOTBALL GODS, GIVE OLD #19 HIS WISH THIS WEEKEND - PACKERS - to clarify, I was born 12/28/58 - the morning of THE GREATEST GAME VER PLAYED,and I was named COLT before the game started. Win or lose, my Dad was naming me Colt. He wanted my first name to be Colt but my Mother wanted Joseph, so they compromised and I ended up Michael Colt (last name withheld!) When the Mayflower vans left, they took a piece of all of us. However, RAVENS rule now!

It's always some controversy that comes out to their benefit. The FOOTBALL GODS will eventually turn those odds around and the karma will come screaming back to the guys. I would like to see something like that tomorrow where the steeler fans will SCREAM about the refs being against them.

During the week leading up to the Pittsburgh playoff game, some of the players had an issue with head coach John Harbaugh about the length of practices and whether the Ravens had been given the proper amount of time off to rest.

As a team, both sides came to an agreement but there were some tense moments with some players even threatening to go the players' union and the media.

This shouldn't be happening during the biggest week of the season.

Well sir, here we go. the talk either ends today, or just begins. I must admit I took a peek over on Fox and sure enough, there's Net pretending to be Annette, and Nissie pretending to be Joeben daddy or something. It will give me great pleasure today if the steelers lose if for no other reason than to shut these idiots up. I swore I wouldn't go back there, but the temptation was to great! But at least I won't post, and probably can't after I went at Nissie hammer and tong a couple of weeks back.

Going up to Famous Dave's again today to get some racks of ribs and some of that delicious beef brisket. The best seat at the Super Bowl today is right in my living room!

First of all I want to comment on the Misk situation. Misk is a troll who can dish it out, but can't take it. His comment to Rob, as well as the post tha the is willing to give someone a chance is a crock of shit. He is pathetic.
The whole situation between him and net and I was when I called Misk on his comment on Facebook. for him to make the comment for the entire world to see, "Now Ed Reed can go buy a fishing rod and fish for his brother" was about the lowest thing a person could have done at such a horrible time.
Net sent me a FB message calling me a bitch and saying I am classless because I responded to Misk's post by saying he was low for writing that.
Now I ask you, does that make me a bitch and classless? I think not.
Then for the two of them to go on Fox and head bash me was even more pathetic. Net made my real name known, not that I give a shit, but it justy shows how totally low class these people are. Misk can try to fool people that he has class, but he is a waste of a human being, as far as I am concerned. I could not be happier to be away from all that.

Those are the fifth-best odds, ranking the purple and black behind the Packers (7-to-1), Patriots (8-to-1), Steelers (10-to-1) and Chargers (12-to-1).

Baltimore has the same 14-to-1 chances as the Colts and Saints.

T- I agree that Ben should have gotten the entire 6 game suspension, but aint it sweet that the Packers kicked their butts. Ben made all kinds of mistakes, as well as others. Sure didn't look like the Big Ben they all worship.

777 - The illegal netting of the fish is terrible, but it is normal practice over here. But there is another firestorm brewing because DNR has been putting tracking devices, un be known to the waterman, on their boats. Several waterman who found them called 911 who called homeland security because no one was sure what they were. So now there are state legistlators, and congressmen involved in finding out why DNR took such drastic steps. If DNR had the search warrants they are probably within the law....and hats off to them if they stop these illegal fisherman..... The waterman, who fish for their livlihood, need to work to change the fishing laws instead of just illegally netting fish. I don't agree with DNR and all the regulations they have but you can't just violate the law...
