These are the guys I'd LOVE us to get on Draft day.I know we are only scheduled to get two on Day One (barring a trade) but here they are in order of preference.

Day One - Saturday


Joe Staley - OT
Ryan Kalil - C
Marcus McAuley - CB
Pat Willis - LB
Paul Posluszny - LB (if only to hear Bryant Gumble try to pronounce his name)

* In the 6th or 7th round only. Purely on his size, arm strength, and genetics.

The only quarterback I really want to see come in and compete with Kyle Boller for starter in 2009 and beyond is of course, Colt Brennan, and he won't be available until the 2008 draft.

I've got a little list too of players i'd be "more than ok with getting" ~ this is mostly a first-day list, but it's hard to learn a lot about the later round players. Blalock is conspicuously not present, along with any 1st round guard...I simply don't believe they are worth that type of draft slot unless they are really that unbelievable.
