Colts CB David signs offer sheet with New Orleans.

The Colts now won't either either of their starting corners from last year. Of course, they weren't that good last year to begin with. But, where do they get 2 new starters?

Bill Polian better rock the draft. LOL.

If we can't put up points on them next year, we stink.

The most amazing part of this story to me is that they made him the low RFA offer. Didn't they *know* they could lose both corners this off season? Wouldn't they rather have had a 3d or higher as compensation for losing David? I'm not sure reasonable minds could differ, so to speak, that looks just plain stupid.

Yeah...and the Saints are clearly desperate for good corners. I'm also pretty surprised at this as well. At least put 1st round tender on the guy, it's not enough to ruin the salary cap.

Just note that cover 2 corners are not nearly as vital as in the Ravens' system. New England always seems to do just fine with seemingly random guys back there every year as well.

Also notice, they have Marline Jackson and a second round pick from the same year. Jackson is ready to go, so it's not quite as bad as it seems either.

This is also good for the Saints, David is a decent enough corner to handle the #2 spot and replace the fossil (Thomas) they have

Colts are learning that there are disadvantages too to being the best =D

yes, the Colts are crying all the way to their trophy/ring ceremony. the price of success is splintering; look how many Squeeler players/coaches have gone (and of course all our Raven coaches & players). we just need someone to raid the Patriots; I'm afraid they'll be winning 13 games a year for the next 10 years. boooooo.
