I have contacted the Seahawks group sales representative for group tickets. We need 20 Ravens Fans to qualify. I have 4 confirmed so if I can find 16 or more Ravens fans that would be willing to go it would be great to cheer them on as a group and get special pricing for the tickets.
The game is Nov 13, 2011

Find out the seat locations. There are some great seats at that stadium .... and some really bad ones. Last game in Seattle, I had row one 20 yard line rain protected uppers, while those below were soaked in a typical Seattle rainstorm.
I could be interested in four to ten tickets if the seats are good and well-priced. I have access to other face value seats, but would like to sit with other Ravens fans if well behaved (yes, we do have some embarassingly obnoxious road fans as well).

Thanks Mista T. thats good advice. I will get a call back from the ticket office in a few weeks when they go on sale. I will get all the details then and let you know.

OK everyone that is interested in the Ravens/Seahawks game I just talked to Seahawks ticket sales and what they have available is section 316 row AA for $55 and section 312 row NN for $71. Both section and row are under cover. The rep said that 316 are actually better seats because the are not as far up and it is a better over all view but I don't know if he is just trying to get rid of those tickets.
Can you talk with your group to see what they would be interested in and get back asap to me since they can't hold those choices? I will check with the others as well and we can go with what the majorities would like.

Patience, Grasshopper. I will track down a couple friends/relatives in Seattle, Portland, and California as to a nose count for the game. Give me a week.

I'll be at the game with a buddy from here.. We are currently just holding out for game tix. Waiting to see if Seattle gets off to a slow start and ticket prices on stubhub and ebay come down some..
Our preference is to sit in the lowers between the 20's and on the Ravens side. I know the cost could be pretty high but we are cool with paying a little extra for this one.
Ravenboy2003
08-29-2011, 10:53 AM
In case anyone is looking for face value tix... Ticketmaster will have a limited amount of tix available at 1 PM EDT today. Looks like the only two price ranges that they are listing are $65 (upper corners) and $350+ lowers between 25's..
For people complaining about the price of Ravens tickets, take a look at Seattle's field level prices for lowers and clubs. Holy smokes..

Sales didn't have either 312 or 316 available anymore when I called yesterday morning but they have section 326 Row DD. Which is the same as 316 just on the other side. It is still undercover and $55/ticket. So if you are still interested, please let me know so I can confirm you on the list. I brought a block of twenty tickets and I have about 9 tickets left. Please let me know your email address, how many tickets you need and where you are located (so I will know if I will be delivering or mailing the tickets to you)
They will be mailing the tickets to me. As soon I receive them I will let you know, Once I have the whole group solidified, we can start planning on if we want to do a pregame kickoff party or anything.
Go Ravens!!!

At the moment, I have six accounted for; however, I'll take all all nine. If someone else pops up wanting any of the three which I don't have noses accounted for yet, I can back off until the other three get filled. But not a problem if they do not.
I recommend that you ask the Seahawks if we can add a few to the group at the group rate if more appear (Jaguars & Titans allow this). One of my friends may be in Afghanistan, and he will go to the game if he reappears.
e-mail me at mista_t_ravens@hotmail.com re payment and ticket logistics.
If you all want to tailgate (very limited in Seattle), let me know and we'll figure something out. My wife's nephew lives in Seattle and can facilitate.
I live near Annapolis. I do frequent the South, however, even during football season -- but no more 'Bama-Auburn games since I moved away from Huntsville. The closest I get to Alabama would be the Mississippi Gulf Coast - Redneck Riviera area in late September.
Thanks for stepping up to the plated to take care of this!

Great, I will check with with Group Sales to see if I can add more to the group of tickets we already have. If they can it might not be in the same section depending on what they have available, will that be ok?
But for right I can put you down for 9 tickets.
Thanks for letting me know tailgating is limited. I will do some research to see if meeting at a restaurant/bar would be better or just stick with tailgating.
We don't go back to bama anymore neither. We lived in Birmingham, Tuscaloosa and then Huntsville. Then we migrated to Maryland and became Ravens fans and now we're in Oregon. We really need to go back for the Alabama-Auburn game someday.
So exicted for the season to begin.

Trying to track down our West Coast contingent who normally make it to the Ravens games out there. Waiting for MikeK to start paying attention to this thread and my e-mails. He was part of the original members of the predecessor RN2 message board, tailgated with many of us in the early 00's, then moved to Portland. Also Ravenous52, who is a Marine based in the Mojave desert but frequents Afghanistan. I may have to download an old sim-card which has phone numbers to track them both down.
Give me a few days to finalize headcount. I just wanted to have you assured that you wouldn't get stuck with unused tickets. Actually, check with group sales to ascertain if the order could be split under the single account, i.e. I would use my credit card for my nine and have them mailed directly to me, you do same with other 11, or further subdivide. Some NFL teams will do just what I described.

Meanwhile, I gave my wife's Seattle nephew a 20 item questionnaire to fill out comprehensively re tailgating improvements made since our 2007 visit, if any, and alternatives, including nearby bars, improvements similar to our Ravens Walk, and public transportation - remote parking..
Q: When would your group be arriving from Oregon? Any others? I could get word out to others who make most road trips to see if we wanted to do something larger, if interested. I will also check with Cole to see if his group would benefit by our presence at tailgate party -- expect $20 apiece or more, as he usually gets quality catering for his events.

In order for me to secure the group of 20 tickets I had to pay for the whole thing up front. If you still want me to call and see if I can get more tickets under the group account, I assume it can go under another card.
Our group is kind of spread out between Oregon and Washington. But most of us will be arriving in Seattle by Sat. afternoon if not earlier. We would definitly be up for doing something larger. And would love to join Cole's tailgate if he has room. Nothing like eating good food and getting pumped up for the game with all the Ravens fans.

Definitely up for some tailgating or at a local bar somewhere. 2007 was pretty lacking. But the Ravens are definitely a different team today. I live in Seattle let me know if there is anything I can do to help.

Yes, please. I am now up to confirmed seven of my nine, and still haven't heard back from 3. I may want to go up to the 12-15 range within a few days. At least PM or e-mail me the contact.
Also, since you had to put it on one card, get in touch with me as to how to send you $$$. I really appreciate your carrying this burden, and want to make sure that you don't have to carry this on your credit card.
btw: if, for some reason we can't extend group buy beyond the twenty, I should be able to get some of the Ravens players' & coaches allotment of tickets, at face value. For the 2007 game, there were dozens of these available. Might be nosebleeds, though.
I live in Seattle let me know if there is anything I can do to help.
Yes. Please scout out the tailgating scene prior to the next Seahawks home game to advise us what may nearby lots may be available, or if we should go to a bar. Remember, bars near NFL stadiums usually get overwhelmed during Game days, so not always a good idea. Alternatively, is there anything similar to our Ravens Walk (http://www.baltimoreravens.com/Gameday/Gameday_Events.aspx), i.e. cheap beers, barbecue, music etc in a plaza outside the stadium:
http://www.baltimoreravens.com/~/media/87D449D596A6465D857E42FA9354E68D.ashx
The 2007 game tailgating sucked; however, we were inundated with rain, and the stadium was still pretty new.

Just to keep count: I went from needing seven to needing 11, so I now need 2 in addition to my share of the nine from the initial group purchase of 20. Dripps wants 3 more, so that would make it a total of five over the 20.
Is Oregon Ravens (who wanted 2) included in bamaravens total? Does Ravenboy2003 still want to pay $150 for protected seats, or sit with us at $55? I will also track down a few more to see if we can get up to another twenty if needed, or at least be able to accomodate all who have expressed interest.

I will call sales again tomorrow morning to find out if they will do additional info. I don't have anyone on the list of the twenty tickets from this forum except for you MistaT. I haven't gotten a response from anyone else unless I missed it.

Tailgating update: I got all 25 invited to a weekly private tailgate party 1 1/2 blocks from the stadium. Normally about 40-50 people at a downtown repair garage which is turned into a bar & barbecue each week. They are welcoming us after I swore we have no rowdies. Cost nothing, just bring some food to contribute & BYOB. Free street parking, as long as you arrive early.
Per my Seattle nephew.
I'll post maps and precise driving instructions, later.

Should be plenty of room. If we overwhelm them, we can spill out onto sidewalk. I will need a final headcount next month.
Also, we should discuss if we want to have catered food (if the owner will allow it).

re tailgating ..... my wife's nephew (who will be tailgating with us) sent me this note:
25 people are ok. He has a grill. They have some food but best to bring what we need. Will get a map of the area with where the free parking is, and send that to you this week.
I'll either disseminate map & directions via e-mail next week, or post the map if I can figure out how to do it -- unless, do any of you have photobucket or something similar which can be linked from here? Again, this is within a few blocks of the stadium, with street parking if you get there sufficiently early.
I'll check into getting some disposable coolers and ice, but anyone driving up may need to help.
If anyone is flying in for the game and cannot purchase tailgate food or beer, let me know and I'll see if I can handle it. I'll be arriving late afternoon Saturday and will do minimal shopping, but I don't want to be stuck with buying a dozen varieties of meat and beers for 25 people again.
Let's also start a sound-off of who plans to attend the tailgate arty:
my group = 4 tailgating (4 to go directly to the game)
MikeK coming from Portland = 4 (I'll - I'll try to wake him up to participate here)

One thing to consider.. the east coast games start at 10 AM PST.... So if you're tailgating prior to this game, you're going to miss the early games.
Me and my buddy may just go to one of the stadium area sports bars to catch the early games.

Does this tailgate have Tv's? cuz Ravenboy brings up a good point about the "early" games starting at 10am.
We Arrive Thursday, staying at the Marriot Pioneer Square. Friday we are going to tour the city and get a tour of the Stadium and Saturday we may go up to Anacortes and go whale watching in the San Juan Islands. Definitely looking for a place to all meet saturday night.
Do you have the exact location of the tailgate? we havent made up our mind yet what we are doing yet before the game.
P.S. for those that havent bought tickets yet and like to drink:
"Lower Level section 100 contains both no-alcohol and alcohol-permitted seating areas. Rows K to Z followed by Rows AA to DD are no-alcohol seating. Tickets in Section 100 will be mapped to the alcohol permitted portion of the section unless specified by the seller as no alcohol" Dont sit in section 100 at Seahawks Stadium.

That's funny. It's those little things you learn to check before you make away trip plans. What sect are alcohol free, what row is really the first row, A or AA. ( in Seattle it's A, Charlotte it's AA. We have been going every year since 2002. Hope to meet up you some of you out there.

I'm new to this site. I am a huge Ravens fan, but stuck/live in Seattle. Of course going to the Ravens game in November, and would like to meet up with other Ravens fans. I see in the thread that there is potentially group seating. I would be very interested if any are still available. I know I'm late to the party, so if not, no big deal. If someone can let me know what section, I will try to get tix nearby at least. My brother is coming out from Baltimore, so would need 2 seats. Any group tailgating plans? I was at the game in 2007 and it was a little disheartening, but that was obviously a down year.

Amazing how this has taken off ..... right now, we have 41 seats purchased, at least one no-show, in the following:
Section 343
Row BB Seats 5-14
Row CC Seats 1-15
Row DD Seats 3-12
Row EE Seats 5-8 & 25-26
It would do one of our a group a favor to pick up the single that's right now an excess ticket, and you may be able to get another seat at the group rate of $55 (which is $10 below the Seahawks face value via Ticketmaster). Best bet would be to take this offline, since there are private e-mails and phone numbers involved. Contact me at mista_t_ravens@hotmail.com and we'll see what we can do to get you into our group.
As to tailgate partying: of course! See below for some details.

Hey Mista T and ravens nation, new to the site. My fiance and I were looking at places to stay for this game and came across this site. Originally from the 410 and now have been in OR for the last year and half, missing home like crazy and would love to party with some good Baltimore folk before this game! Wondering if we could join in for the taligate,( we would of course contribute beer/food/whatever is needed) and if you guys had any info on the most convenient place to stay near the stadium. Also, would love to know where people are drinking on Saturday night. Thanks for any info you could pass us. Were sitting in Lower level Charter 112 row C, hope to see yall there. Go RAVENS!

Just whatever for your own consumption, plus donate one item for the crowd. After we get a decent nose-count, we can work up a list of some extras to bring.
Also, I cannot pick up all the food & beer, but I can buy a few cases of beer, limited junk food, and some disposable coolers for others who can't bring there own due to their logistics.
if you guys had any info on the most convenient place to stay near the stadium.
I can't help there -- we stay with wife's family. If you stay near the airport, don't stay in mid-grade or economy hotels - it's a seedy area.:ref:
If you stay downtown or anywhere near the light rail, note that the tailgate location is a few blocks from Light Rail. Downtown Seattle has a bus tunnel -- free service in the deep downtown. It intersects with the Light Rail. Point is that you could have the option of not having to rent a car.

We are staying at the Courtyard Marriott downtown/Pioneer Square. It's on 2nd st about 3 blocks north of the stadium. Very easy walk to the stadium and to the restaurant/bar area in pioneer square. We actually hav an extra room we don't need that I'm going to cancel, not sure if I can xfr to you. It's $119 AAA rate.
MistaT- I think we are going to skip the tailgate. Too much trouble to haul the beer and food down there and park when we can walk to the stadium. We are going to go the bars that have gameday specials then head to the exhibition hall to see the cheerleaders 11:30-noon! Haha. Also I heard they open Safeco field for concessions and you hang out in the bullpen and warning track.

Have a blast at the tailgate guys! I wish we could make it but since Sunday is our only full day in Seattle, we plan on checking out pikes place market that mourning since were staying near it, and heading to FUEL SPORTS BAR around 10ish.
The weather looks like rain all day long, so get your ponchos ready!!! Were sitting lower level behind Ravens bench so we might get soaked. Hopefully it wont effect the game to much. CAWWWW!

Game tickets are no problem. An adequate supply of beer at the tailgate party is another matter!
We do have excess tickets. Send a PM to "ELDripps" and "bamaravens"

Just to recap:
- tailgate location:
Pacific Auto Body
1048 6th Avenue South
http://maps.yahoo.com#q=1048+6th+Ave+S%2C+Seattle%2C+WA++98134-1306&start=1&lat=47.594231&lon=-122.325813&zoom=15&mvt=m&trf=0&tt=
- parking and other details at post 47 above
- please bring food and drink for yourself, plus a little extra food for the community chest, and a few dollars to reimburse me for buying our host some booze
- the closest place to buy food for tailgate party is the Japanese grocery store Uwajimaya (http://www.uwajimaya.com), within walking distance of Pioneer Square and the stadium. Even though it is an Asian store they still have plenty of western food and beer.
- one or two pairs and a single ticket still available in our group
- if anyone is unable to crack the code on the message board's PM system, please e-mail me at mista_t_ravens@hotmail.com and I will forward your message
- also: dress for Seattle weather (http://www.weather.com/weather/weekend/USWA0395)! While the Storm of the Century headed to Alaska and British Columbia should clear out by Saturday, don't be surprised to be in some nasty, cold, and windy showers on Sunday. Our seats should be protected. The tailgate party will go on in any event!

I might see you at FUEL sports bar on sunday. We plan on starting out at FUEL, then sometime a bit later make our way over to the exhibition hall for the seahawks "Touchdown city". (Cheerleaders around 11:30am...haha)

What's up everyone, I'm stationed up in Everett and This is my first ravens game in 9 years as I was overseas since 2002. My brother and father are flying in from Baltimore, we have seats in section 109 under the overhang of the second level.
I saw a few spots everyone is meeting up, anyone plan on tailgating at the stadium? Also how far is the auto body spot from the stadium?
Looking forward to meet up with some "real" ravens fans Sunday...
Thanks

Per my nephew, who works two blocks from the tailgating location, it's about a 10 minute walk to the stadium, subject to street lights and crowds on the sidewalk. Per Yahoo maps (http://maps.yahoo.com/#q=1048+6th+Ave+S%2C+Seattle%2C+WA++98134-1306&start=1&lat=47.594231&lon=-122.325813&zoom=14&mvt=m&trf=0&tt=), it looks to be about 1/2 mile.

Hey there everyone! New to these boards, but I've been supporting and defending the Ravens on ESPN boards for many years. Grew up in Baltimore, went to the U, currently in Portland, and obviously a huge Ravens fan, but I haven't been to a Raven's game in over 10 years...until Sunday. Landed some section 112 seats. I've got a small group, 3 or 4 of us guys who are looking for a good Ravens tailgate. We'll be getting into Seattle between 8-9am.
How many people are you anticipating Mista T?
Anyone else know of a tailgate at the stadium as well? Looking to meet up with this group early then move closer to the stadium as game time nears.

In the range of 25-35. I know about 10, so it will be up to the others on this thread + friends to see who shows. Welcome to join in -- see above for what to bring and where to park.
You never know with these away game tailgate parties. In 2007, Ravenous52, my wife, and I parked our rental car in a conspicuous spot outside the 49ers stadium with a couple bottles of vodka, OJ, and munchies, and a big Ravens banner. 2 hours later, we had about 25-30 Ravens fans for an impromptu tailgate party. Same season, at Seattle, we found no one.

My wife and I will be at the tailgate as well. We live in Issaquah (about 25 min from Seattle) and all I gotta say is pack some rain boots. It was pouring last night and it even started hailing. Perfect weather for Rice to have a big day! We went out to M&T for our last playoff game against Indy a few years back, so looking forward to actually hanging out with some Ravens fans as there are ZERO out here. See everyone tomorrow.

We're in Row B. Are you thinking about going to the tailgate at the Pacific Auto Body (1048 6th Ave S, Seattle, WA 98134-1306)? Apparently it's a 15 min walk from Fuel. Yeah, lets meet at the bar and figure it out from there. There'll be 2 of us joining you to watch Cincy stomp on Pittsburgh (::fingers crossed::) I'll be in a white Ngata jersey and glasses!

So many Ravens fans at the tailgate party, I don't know if I met you. I hope that you two were able to stick around long enough to partake. A bunch of Ravens fans passed us by, then later came back to join.
That was a sizable group from Portland, California and the Seattle locals, who got to see Ravenous52's world famous Ray Lewis dance imitation.
Thanks to all who helped with set up and clean up, and also those who chipped in to buy the shop owner a bottle of premium vodka. I assume that he keeps the leftover beer.

Yup, we ended up making it and hanging out with all of the Ravens fans. I was wearing the black Ray Rice jersey and my wife was wearing the pink Flacco one.
As for the "What time is it?", we got it on video: http://youtu.be/EOLGwuZvCjU

Sorry I missed you guys. We ended up at Sluggers.. What a great stadium area sports bar that was.. They must have had 80 HD big screens with every game on.. Good food too, and festive crowd with a lot of Ravens fans there as well. Too bad we stunk it up while inside the stadium.
