Getting the wind in the 4th was enormous...discuss.

Absolutely it was. Stover doesn't make that FG without the wind. However, the whole playcalling may have changed if conditions were different, so one really never knows.

And the Browns had the wind on that TD pass to Edwards, so should that mean anything either? Find something else to bitch about.

The wind is also to blame for some of McNair and Frye's passing floating around. McNair would've still had some bad throws in no wind, but the wind was responsible for some of that.

Bottom line we had the wind in the 1st and 4th Q the score Bal 15 Cle 0. Cle had the wind in the 2nd and 3rd with the score Cle 14 Bal 0. The difference was Cle not scoring with the wind in the 3rd.

The wind did not make a 52 yard fieldgoal. Stover drained it.
Try standing out in your backyard and kicking a football off the ground - see if it goes straight. Then you may have an appreciation for the difficulty of hitting that 3 pointer over a bunch of jumping lineman. (He does get a little help from God when he kicks).

The wind didn't make the FG, but Stover probably doesn't without it.
That said, Stover is still money.

When I saw 52 yds,I said there is no way he is making that. Then I remembered the wind was helping, and let me tell you that kick would have been good from 56 if not longer.Something tells me that somtime late in Dec we will be looking back at that kick as probably one of the biggest moments of the 2006 season.
