The Ravens, under John Harbaugh, who joined the team prior to the 2008 season, are the NFL’s only team to go to and win a playoff game in each of the last three complete seasons. Now, Baltimore is the only team to earn the playoffs in each of the last four seasons – and five of the past six. The Ravens’ eight trips to the postseason since 2000 are tied for fourth best in the NFL.
Five consecutive season finales the Ravens have won, including nine of their last 11 final regular season contests.
With a win the Ravens:
• Can clinch its third AFC North title (2003 and 2006) with a victory, also securing a first-round playoff bye and at least one playoff game at home.
• Will go undefeated in division play for the first time in a season in franchise history.
• Will have won seven straight AFC North division games and nine of their last 10.
• Will reach 12-4 for the second straight season and the third time in team history (2000 and 2010). (Baltimore’s best record ever was 13-3 in 2006.)
The Series v. the Bengals: The Ravens have the overall lead in these head-to-head divisional showdowns, 17-14. At home the Ravens are 11-5 while in Cincinnati they are 9-6, 1-5 during the last 6 visits to the Queen City.
John Harbaugh is the first head coach in NFL history to take over a sub-.500 team and then win a playoff game in each of his first three seasons. In 2010, he became just the fourth head coach since 1990 to earn a playoff berth in each of his first three years.
The Ravens’ four playoff wins over the past three seasons tie Arizona, the NY Jets and Green Bay for second most in the NFL (Pittsburgh, 5). All four Ravens victories have come on the road, tying the Jets for the NFL’s most.
SAVED BY ZERO: The Ravens have not permitted a single sack in the first quarter this season – the only NFL team to accomplish this feat.
NOW THAT’S AT LEAST A TRIPLE: 3 times this season Ray Rice has had rushes of 50-plus yards tying Atlanta’s Michael Turner for most in the NFL.
Three-and-out: 30 times this season the Ravens’ offense has been forced off the field after 3 plays – the NFL’s seventh fewest this season.
THE OPENING DRIVE: Add up all opponents’ opening drives this season and you’ll discover that the Ravens have allowed only 7 points in total when the other team takes its first possession. That’s a league best!
THE SECONDARY IS FIRST: The 11 Passing TDs the Ravens have allowed this season is the NFL’s fewest (NYJ next at 14).
BUMBLIN’, STUMBLIN’ & FUMBLIN’: The Ravens have forced 20 fumbles this season, a league best and that number falls 1 shy of the club single-season record set in 2003.
GET OFF THE FIELD: The Ravens defense is allowing a third down conversion rate of just 30.9%, an NFL best in 2011.
NFL Records in Reach:

The Ravens can set an all-time league mark this Sunday if they finish the season allowing less than 4.0 yards per carry. It’d mark an NFL-record 16 straight seasons doing so (currently at 3.5 avg. through 15 games).
The Ravens have won five of their past six games. Here are several offensive facts/trends during that time (since Nov. 20)
