I enjoy this (http://www.profootball24x7.com/column_view.php?cid=52&id=1483&view=archive) regular column on the main page.

As much as we all (or many of us, anyway) like the BC show on Saturdays, the 'C' grade was generous. Bruce cannot carry that show without Aaron Wilson, he has a great voice and handles callers well but Aaron is the reason people tune in.

To Bruce's credit, at least he seemed to know he wasn't cutting it.

*sigh*

Come *ON* Training Camp!!!! :brickwall:

I heard the BC show last week and I also read the Media Watchdog column. I agree w/ the points stated by the writer about the show last week. If it's a show about Ravens football...then talk about football. Not personal injuries or blathering on about sponsors so long or asking people on mesasge boards to cut you some slack.

Just because Aaron Wilson was not there doesn't mean the show last week had to suffer so much.

Bruce has bigger issues thatn that. He has to be the most insecure host in town.

Bruce is a good host in terms of handling callers and running his show. He has been woefully short in his football knowledge for years, so teaming him with Aaron who lacks Bruce's show skills is a good fit.

That being said, I fail to understand how a sportscaster doesn't have better knowledge of sports, especially those he is talking about on a radio talk show each and every week. He should know more about what is going on with the Ravens than we do, and he just doesn't and I don't get why.

I used to listen to the show fairly regularly, but got tired of connection problems and Bruce seeming to cut off Aaron quite regularly to give his two cents worth. Maybe I'll try again during the season.

I agree w/ all of you on this thread. Wilson is the anchor of the show..and maybe expecting Cunningham to be better is just asking too much.

Add me to the list of fans who has stopped listening because of Bruce's continual cutting off of Aaron Wilson. Sometimes it gets so bad Aaron doesn't get back to the point he was trying to make, it's like someone changing the TV channel just before Mrs. Marple reveals who the killer is!
