I was saying this at work! It's the AFCC game, there is no time to get a penalty on a clean hit and then bitch about it. If we are going to get called then put a bounty on Mr. Brady's head! Play hard and keep it clean if they call some bullshit call, then he is fair game and the hits need to count. One bullshit call for the queen then somebody needs to put the crown of their helmet under his chin and knock his ass out.

We're not Steelers fans....we're classier than that. The penalties that are looming against us if Brady happens to break a nail while being sacked are bad enough.

The difference is that the Ravens are a team. If a star player has a bad game, they can overcome. If Brady has a bad game, the Patriots will get blown out. Without Brady, the Patriots would have about the same record as the Colts this year.

As much as I admire everyones rightousness in some small way, if Suggs gets a late hit penalty that puts Brady out of the game and we win and go to the SB your a bunch of bs' ers if you wouldn't be happy. Yes. Doing a "Goose" on Brady would be classless. I thought it was classless when Siragusa did it to Gannon. I've played plenty of competitive sports and pushed it "to the max". That doesn't mean I tried to injure guys, or even inflict pain outside of the rules. The Ravens are good enough to win without resorting to that. If Suggs sacks Brady and drives him into the ground and forces a fumble that we recover and gets no penalty (Although it should be) and the Ravens recover and win, You will be the first guy honking his horn waving his purple jersey and painting super bowl or bust on his windshield. There is a difference between disapproving of an illegal hit and disapproving of it to the point that you disassociate yourself from the team. I wouldn't LIKE it if Suggs were to hit Brady in the head intentionally, but I would limit my dislike to simply saying "That was a cheap shot, and we're better than that," and moving on.

If I'm Brady and I see that the only way they can touch me is if it comes late with a free 15 yards, I'll encourage them to keep it up, because it makes my job a hell of a lot easier. It wouldn't intimidate me at all.

Speaking of the Gannon injury...I remember many a Raider fan boasting about how many QBs their defense had knocked out of the game on their way to the AFCCG. Karma.

Speaking of the Gannon injury II...while Siragusa's hit was cheap, and would no doubt draw a flag today, Gannon was actually injured on a perfectly legal hit by McCrary on his first drop-back.

Lastly, the Ravens (especially under the John Harbaugh era) have not been known as being cheap or dirty players. Tough, yes. Can anyone recall the last time a Raven player really put a cheap shot on a player? I can't. They should just play their game, and if the officials want to throw the flags to protect the "national treasure", there is really nothing they can do about it.
