I just learned that while most of the nation is watching the Ravens-Chargers, The south - including Florida, will have Miami-Houston. (insert flaming profanity)

I can only hope CBS on TVU comes through again. Otherwise it's searching in vain for an Internet radio broadcast, or the dreaded nfl.com gametime.

Ratzafratz!

Hey, count your blessings, some of us can only watch the Ravens games when they're on Sunday or Monday Night Football :P And we don't even get the good ads!

Well, then you're going to have to rely on TVU also...or the lesser alternatives.

Here's a link to their downloads page (totally free) for those who don't have it. Getting free HBO along with it ain't bad either. :)

In the UKRavens forum in the SkySports thread they have a link to a legal, but costly, site where you can watch any game on the web. They say the quality isn't bad. Head to your local sports bar that has the ticket, buy a few beers and some wings and enjoy the game that way.

As Greg was stating we lucky people across the pond can watch live NFL games on the internet through Yahoo/Game Pass.[Very expensive but well worth it in my opinion].Here's the details.

Broadcast Notes:
Service not available in the U.S., Canada, Mexico, U.S. Territories, Bermuda, Antigua or the Bahamas.
NFL Game Pass, powered by Yahoo! Sports, is a U.S. service governed by U.S. laws.
Game archives available for 24 hours after end of game.
Additional restrictions may apply. This means you cannot watch the game if it is being shown live in your country. But you can watch it later after the live game on tv has finished.

To be able to watch the Ravens live on the pc,is a dream come true.
I usually manage to watch 5 games before the archives are wiped clear.
[Two games Sunday][Two games Monday after work,Late Sunday, and Sunday night game].[And the Monday night game on Tuesday after work].

Is going to a bar that has the Ticket an option?

CBS hates America. Why else would they keep their premier game in non HD. Is America not good enough for HD, CBS?

I hear ya, Art! I'm in the same predicament...I'll be watching at a sports bar connected to a gas station. :eyes:

I guess CBS thinks all of Florida likes the Dolphins, even when they're playing a doormat team in Houston.

The drawbacks of having three NFL teams in the stste. :(

Hmm...sports bar...charged atmosphere, abundant beverages, yummy munchables, rabid Raven fans of the female persuasion, maybe some deluded Charger fans to mock...that has some definite advantages over NFL.com and scratchy radio feeds on delay. Good point.

I used that TVU thing last Sunday to watch the CIN/PIT game on my PC. The picture wasn't the greatest, but is far from the worst! I could definitely tell what was going on. Your image might be better though because I'm running an old 486 machine with 252K of RAM!
(If you even know what the hell a 486 machine is you're dating yourself!)

I thought you were serious at first. There is no way you could even stream with an old 486. My first computer was a Packard Bell 386. I think I only had 32 of 64 K ram. And that was also when hard drive space was measured in Mb's. I don't even thinnk my hard drive was over 100 Mb. with a 14 baud modem? I think?

What's that new fangled thing called windows? Wil it change the way my document prints? :rolling:

It's the feed. I have an Athlon 64 with a ton of high speed memory, and DSL, and the signal quality was marginal. Still, seeing the Ravens beat the Browns was a LOT better than watching an animated football prance on nfl.com. Three cheers for TVU.
