Plenty of good stuff to give this natural pessimist hope.
Note also the comments at the bottom - one poster expects to see a lot of the "Steelers" package (AD at safety).

When Rivers watch's gamefilm of the Ravens defense this season.Thats when the first seed of doubt will enter his mind. From there that seed will germinate from the first sack or INT,like any young QB,he is there to be confused and exploited. And Rex Ryan knows it.
Warning though, watchout for LT in the flats on dump offs that is the only worry I have about their offense, other than Gates finding holes in our coverage.
Should be a great game.

I think they need to get back to the shifts and movement on the line of scrimmage before the snap like they did in the first two games. Make the old "86" give the kid something else to think about at the last minute. It seems like they got away from that a little in Cleveland.

This will be the first real test for both our offense and our defense. LT is very hard to defend and will probably score a TD on a dump or pass in the flat. His feet are unbelievable. If the Chargers make us one dimensional by stuffing Jamal, I am not sure McNair will get the time he needs to beat the defense. Although for the short passing game he doesn't need alot of time. I just don't have a good feeling about this game. I did think we would be able to beat the Bucs in their house. I don't have that same feeling here. Rivers is the pivital link. If he is exposed as a inexperianced QB we might have a shot. But I really don't know. Their oline isn't the greatest. It should be a really good game. If we can beat them it will make us for real as a possible contender.

For those expecting pure inexperience from Rivers look out
Would expect that we will get the sacks but he will throw at least 1 or 2 passes that make us say -- I wish we had him for the long run.
He has an aggressive attitude that is unusual for someone with so few games under his belt.
