View Full Version : Ravens 24x7 t-shirt?

Pardon the lack of creativity, but I was bored and designed a bit of a "spin-off" t-shirt idea from the other one I designed for Ravens Insiders.

Ignore the "FTB" text, that's just to make it a pain in the ass for anyone to steal the concept. ;)
I figured the posters here could come up with a witty saying or epitaph on the tombstone, then you could slap a 24x7 on the back of the shirt and sell it in the online store or something. I do this for fun, so I don't expect much from it.

You know, You are really good at that! Have you ever thought of becoming a graphic artist? I mean a real school not that "draw Binky" rip-off stuff.
Replace the FTB with "24x7" and I'd buy one. I wonder if we'd get a discount if we already bought an RI shirt?

And I like the half drunk bottle of Cognac by the headstone idea. A nice local touch that would sail over the heads of most people not from around here, which of course makes it even cooler.

LOL, ON THE HEADSTONE! I don't think you meant it this way, but basically it would read that the guy would rather be in the grave than Cleveland. NOW THAT IS FUNNY!

The bottle of Cognac idea can easily be implemented. Any other ideas on what to add to make it funnier/more clever are welcome.
I'll put whatever quote is most popular on the headstone.
TL, I was thinking on the back could be a 24X7 logo. The back is probably better for the logo because people will look at that longer. I can't remember the last time a stranger stared at the front of my shirt without me wondering about the guy. :rolling:

It is too similar to last years shirt. A great idea and design, but leave the "Insider" shirt on its own.

I know the NFL doesnt like anyone using their logos, im not lawyer but I dont think legally you can put the actual team helmets on the shirt and sell it.
How about take out the helmets, and just put:
RIP
Cleveland
Cincinnati
Pittsburgh
On the gravestone. Then "Nevermore" under the team names. That way its all generic no nfl team names or logos.

Ravensfan 1996 has a good idea, although I'd replace the RIP with NEVERMORE rather than repeat it. And also put in the half-empty cognac bottle!

All sounds good. Why don't we do this. Have FtB come up with a revised design and then we can present it to the site owners. Let them sign off on it and FtB, you can talk to them and work stuff out.

I really like it FTB but I'd like to make a suggestion.
I would lose the second grave stone and the flowers . . . they are kinda distracting. Other then that . . . I think it's awesome. Oh, and I agree with Sykesville . . . add the "Let them hate so long as they fear" on the grave stone.

You might need to remove the helmets. The No Fun League needs every dime they can embezzle.
Maybe have the Raven with his wings spread like he is landing on the tombstone and have inscribed on the tombstone RIP Cleveland Pittsburgh and Cincinnati like the other thread mentioned.
Better yet have the Raven landing on the helmet taking a dump. Print one up for each opponet this year

You u/l the image you want and design the shirt, they make them and ship them and you get a set amount for every shirt that sells. plus anyone typing in "ravens" in a search can buy your shirt/mug/hat anything you want.

Being the amateur that I am, I had no idea of this.
I actually tried cafepress but had difficulty getting a black shirt and increasing the size of the image, so I'm trying something else very similar.
I plan to put the PF24x7 logo on the back to advertise this website.

Also, do you have the 24x7 logo with a black background? Preferably with the tagline "For those who bleed purple"?
I agree, more gothic on the font and drop the period. You also might want to draw out the skyline a bit more. I know, picky, picky. Really, you do super work.

Alright guys, the suggestions have been taken and changes will be made.
However, we seem to be hung up on what goes on the headstone:
Here are the most popular choices:
1. "Raven 'til I die"
2. "Better here than Cleveland"
Feel free to either vote for #1 or #2 or suggest a different slogan. :thumbup:

"better then cleveland" is to cutesy for tough looking shirt like that, so if its between the two, i like "raven til i die" best.
But if thats on a tombstone arent you already dead then? haha
I was kind of kidding, using "Better Here Than Cleveland" kind of makes it like those hate Pittsburth shirts, etc. It loses its universal appeal.
Since it is on a headstone I don't know how that works. It means the guy in the grave is no longer a Ravens fan. How about "Raven 'Til I Die, AND BEYOND!"

Nice bombing run on pissburgh. I still like the idea of the Raven perched on the tombstone. But that is one mans opinion. Let me know what happens on the shirts I definately want on.
